Luke....(not Malcolm) in the middle

Meet Luke. He's definitely our ham and is constantly asking for me to take his picture. So he's vain too! I think he may have a bit of G'pa Stan in him if that's the case. (my dad worries more about what he looks like than ANYONE I know).--love ya dad! :) He may look irresistable, but man he's a pill! I admit I do get a lot of comments on how cute he is, but honestly I think he came that way for a reason......We are going on day #2 without naps again. He was doing well for a while but now we're having an "off" week again. He through a cork into my day not taking a nap because I had all intentions on getting some scrapbooking done. Instead, I played bogle junior and connect four. Normally, I don't mind playing with him, but I too want my time to play! I love him to pieces, but man is he a STINKER! And well, now since I am on the topic of my child #3. I had hoped I didn't raise my children out of a barn--and I mean literally!! Luke came in with a surprise in his pants after playing outside telling me he was going to the bathroom outside! I admit I on occasion (when lazy) I tell him to tinkle on the lawn if necessary. But the other NEVER!! Okay-- yuck first of all and secondly, last I checked I don't OWN any animals.

LUKEY- That's YUCKY! Funny, but probably disgusting surprise for Mom. You gotta love his big brown eyes and long eyelashes. What I would do to have those estra long eyelashes.

He is definitely cute, so hopefully that will make up for any stinker-like tendencies. It's a sad day when a child stops napping.

P.S. I have to laugh that there's a Sonic cup in the background.

I love how your post begins: "Meet Luke." It sets the mood, for sure!

I love a few things...first that Jill recognized that as a sonic cup!! That's awesome. Second, that I am not alone in Lucy forfeiting her naps as well (today was also our second day going without), and third, I've been trying to think of a game that Seth can play--Connect Four!! That's it!! Thanks, Jenny, hope the napper returns soon. He IS a looker, though! Woowoo!

I think Luke is about Sammy's age and I rarely try anymore. Seth took naps until he was 5! But too bad about the special surprise. Those are times when you really earn it.

Soooo cute! Have to HATE the surprise the pants! In my opinion, there is a reason these little stinkers are so cute--hard to get angry at them:)

Is this what I have to look forward to with my little Alexander? I am tempted to say--my child would never, but I won't for two reasons. 1.) He's only three months old, and as far as I know the sky's the limit for his behavior--good or bad. 2.) I know better than to make any promises when it comes to boys and bathroom behavior. Why do they think these things are so funny?

He is a cutie, though! I always say that kids have to start out small and cute otherwise they wouldn't make it to kindergarten. They're so easy to forgive when they're little! Oh, who am I kidding, it's easy to forgive children in general. They can be so dang charming when they know they're in trouble!
