Thanks for all sympathy concerns about the dog. I know things will work out. It would have been an outside dog (since I am a clean freak by nature). I couldn't bare looking at those painfully cute puppy dog eyes any longer on my blog. It reminded me of the cat on Shrek, when he would use his sad eyes to get his way. Anyways, I have taken a lot of mental notes this week. Really in no particular order just some to remember. Here are just a few tidbits.
*Apparently, this is new way my 2 year old smiles? The automatic cheese face. I gave up after several retakes.
*Luke is our anal child and prefers to line up his dominoes in rainbow order.
*I went to playgroup for the first time in weeks and it was actually quite enjoyable. For both me and the kids. I learned that I am not the only mom who has defiant children once in a while :)

*I heard my friend use the phrase "giddy up" when talking her kids. (instead of saying HURRY) I thought it was actually pretty funny. Hmm something I may copy.
*Having a Sonic card comes in handy when you have no cash. BUT disappointed they got rid of their .99 drinks before 11am @$@#$!
*Getting upset with a feisty two year old does you know good, but get you frustrated!

*Punctuality is KEY when picking up your kids from school. I was early the first day and it was TOO early. Yesterday I picked them up 2 minutes late and I was reprimanded by the office. Jeesh!
*Finally understanding how to take in and out pads for football. They need a how to for dummies on these things.
*Afternoon showers cause football to end an hour early. I love rain!
*How good friends know when to drop stuff off and make your day. Angie hand delivered some creamy jalapeƱo with chips this afternoon with some peanut butter m&m's. Yum!

*The grocery store at 10am is the way to go. It's not crowded and actually quite pleasant.
*Explaining to Jared that working hard at practice allows you more playing time. He had his best practice yet last night (hmmm...why? because he did his 100%)

*Enjoy and appreciate when Doug's around. I can honestly say that we have grown closer because of his hectic schedule. I know the month of July he was around a lot, but now I appreciate the small amounts of time he is around even more. Who am I kidding I am crazy about this guy and am thankful for having such a strong happy marriage!
good deed: made Doug some homemade salsa.
