Normally I am not at the computer this early in the day. But so much has happened in a matter of hours I couldn't wait anymore. I am not sure why I didn't think of this much sooner, but Angie and I have been walking by this piece of trash for weeks. I guess the garbage man has refused to take it. Then I had an ah hah moment.... this would work for most of my Christmas projects!! So after our walk we drove the car over and began using the hammers to ply this baby apart. I am sure if these people were sleeping we definitely woke them up pounding the heck out of this wood.

Luke captured us in motion. Pretty good for a 3 year old. It is a bit blurry, but you get the picture. Once we safely got it into the car we headed to Sonic for the daily diet coke. Its a good thing I got it because..........

Luke has been naughty since his eyes popped open this morning. I yelled at him and told him to go to his room. Finally after the third attempt I heard the door slam and then silence. I think he must of been a bit tired because I found him asleep in his bed at 10:30am. Just like this covered and all. Now that he is asleep Weston is a bit bored. Can you tell? He is currently getting into EVERYTHING and roaming the house.

I am a bit overwhelmed right now I have projects galore everywhere and don't know where to begin!! What was I thinking starting 4 projects at once. AHHHH! And it's not even noon! My rat race will then start at 3pm when I have to take Taylor to dance, Jared to soccer, later a baby shower to attend, oh and I can't forget watch Grey's Anatomy.

Hey Jen,
I know how you feel, I'm room parent in two classes, signed up to be in an FHE swap, I'm working on my pink christmas gift, thinking about making my christmas cards, and also thinking about one day working on my own scrapbooks. I think I bit off more than I can chew!! J is asleep so I better get busy too!
I'm intrigued by what you will be making out of that wood. What fun. You and Angie are too cute.
Is there nothing sweeter than a sleeping child?
Trash to treasure. This morning will definitely being a memry I will never forget. If hammering on the wood, and making so much noise, wasn't enough to make me never forget then the dog smell for sure will help me remember. I thought I was going to PUKE!
Cute scrapbook page. I really need to work on mine some more. I always feel so good when I finish a cute page but knowing how dar behind I am I get so discouraged.
You have to tell us what you are going to do with that wood! So curious--and I love a good find!
I think we are all intrigued with the wood project- just shows that I am not creative minded when it comes to stuff like that. Do tell...
I wish Seth would do that when I send him to his room! Can't wait to see what you do with the recycled wood! Good for you!
Wow that picture looks cute! i is always fun to find something or think of sometihng to do with "everyday things" that sometimes we ignore for whatever reason!
Jenny be careful with the electric tools, the only thing worse than you losing a finger or two would be an ortho doc losing one.
Jenny, you're out of control! I am amazed by your ability to get so much done.
