Due to the lack of television choice I tuned in to American Idol tonight. Don't get me wrong I enjoy watching the show, but am really LONGING for my "regular" Heroes and Office to be back on the air. This was probably the best audition of the night. If you didn't see it, he wrote his own lyrics to sing which was one phrase "I my brothers......" All I know is it was hilarious and Fox is making a killing without any competition from the other networks. Writers strike be gone!

I turned American Idol on for about 5 minutes, but didn't get sucked into it, so I turned it off. But, the last audition of the night was a girl from Mesa that my little sister was friends with in High School! Funny. Brooke White...I watched it on YouTube today...she is a sweet girl.
I'll check it out until I can't stand it anymore - this writer's strike is driving me away from the TV though - I guess that's something good about shows always being a rerun. Take care - how's your sewing going?
I have yet to watch it. Of course it is waiting for me on Tivo. I love to watch American Idol. I will be tuning in shortly. I get such a kick out of the auditions. They are pretty bad!
I'm totally out of my tv habits with the writer's strike going on. I do love American Idol though and we've got it DVR'd so I'll probably speed watch it.
For some reason AI is just not "grabbing me" just yet. That guy was pretty whacked, don't ya think?!!!

I am really ready for the strike to be over too. Even if they resolve it tomorrow it feels like it'll be forever before our shows are back on. Phooey!
Puhleeze! Will this writers strike ever end? I've had to resort to things like Real Housewives of Orange County, sigh.
I've never watched Idol, but just got an email that someone I know knows one of the contestants. We're practically related, I must watch!

Seriously funny! We were laughing so hard and the worst part was that I went to bed singing his silly brother song because I couldn't get it out of my head! The end of the show looked more like a Saturday Night Live sketch, didn't it?
I think Douglas, the sweaty guy in a brown shirt that had to be escorted out was the funniest of the night.
No time for tv around here. I did DVR AI so maybe I can sit down soon for a little laugh. I'm in desperate need of that this week. Hormones have overtaken me and I can't take it.
We watch American Idol with the kids - they love it! I admit it - we are fans. My favorite part of the show are the auditions - people are nuts! We watched on Tuesday night and just died laughing at all the crazys that come out of the woodwork! Too fun!
John and I were laughing pretty hard watching last night :). And yes.. i couldn't get that song out of my head either.

I am done with American Idol. I loved the first few seasons, and while there's no reason why I wouldn't continue to love it if I watched it, I simply can't anymore. It's just been done. All of it. And I hate following hype. You know:) It's one of the reasons I stopped watching Grey's. That and the adultery theme they keep spinning.
But his outfit sure is fun.
Haven't watched AI for several seasons now. Can't wait for HEROES too!! Have you seen the new American Gladiators? Loved it growing up & lovin' it again now! My daughter wants to be one of the gladiators. She thinks they're so cool. Too funny! YAY Lost starts soon!!

we got all geared to watch it and after about an hour we had t turn it off - it has crossed a serious line with me and just may be going to my trash t.v. list.
i just am not up for shows where the are having to blur people flipping off the camera and saying swear words. i am just wondering when did this come ok on t.v.
makes me sad, because we really loved last season.
