If i came to visit you next week, how would i know which doorbell to ring? Do you have a formal entrance? Should i come to the front door? Or do you prefer your guests to come around back? (Would you be surprised if i came in through the garage?!?)
As much as I love my home I think my front door definitely is not the selling point. (can you tell I am ready to put it on the market?) I feel a bit like Vanna White here. As you can see our garage door and front door are pretty much side by side. Kind of odd if you ask me. Most people that come to my house ring the front door bell. But, if you are a frequent visitor you would likely be using the garage. We don't ever use our front door to come into our house now that we have a key less entry on the outside. It makes it super convenient unless of course the electricity goes out. Any friends are welcome so if you plan a trip to San Antonio our front door is open!

Interesting that both doors come into the same place. I don't think that would be my favorite either. 98% of our visitors come in through the garage which lands them in the laundry room where they usually get an eye full.
I enjoy getting a peek into your house... it is nice to have a visual. I should do this challenge...
Makes me wish we could come for a visit. I'm pretty sure we'd use the front door. That's what Domino's would do, right? And since Jon and Doug would begin their greeting with "ummm...Domino's?", the front door seems most appropriate. :)
So nice to see your house again! Did you decide when you are putting it on the market?
Your hair looks great! It is so long!
You look great in these photos-very Vanna White! Such a simple challenge, but so cool to see everyone's front doors. In a weird way, it seems like I know you a little better now (even if you're about to sell the place)!
Keyless entry sounds great. I am always hitting the button on my car door opener trying to open the kitchen door.
Weird that both your doors go to the same place...BONUS that the garage door does not give you an eyeful of laundry though...I want to see some pics of your NEW welcome home - happy hunting :)
I'm leaving town the first of next week...be home Thursday afternoon, so by Friday I will expect that you will have found your new home...call me!
That is kind of a fun SPT...it's like we're coming over for a visit!! ;) I loved your querulously post...I'm with you on so many things. Have a great trip to AZ. That will be a nice break...and good luck with house hunting.AND...maybe your car will be done when you get back!!
You do kinda remind me of Vanna in these pictures!!
Keyless entry seems dreamy!! I lock myself out of my house at least once a week.
that is an odd layout. but there are some buyers out there who will love this!! right?!?
i have some newly painted garage envy...
oh Jenny I was to visit you before this official invitation. I have been meaning to send out birthday cards, thank you notes, and what not...but still in the last of the rooms from returning...the last one was that my lovely loved one....pulll everything out of my closet...the storage/crafts/closet and left it out...so the dinning room is the last clutter around...plus laundry/and all the christmas stuff that have finally made it to the lower level....but what I am trying to say is that on my way back...I was thinking of stoping by at your home and it was always always my intent to stop and get to know you personally...however, things got shifted and I passed through SA at about 6:40 am....so IT was not the ideal also because I had a 14 hour trip that day too! but when you move to AZ we will definately have to stop by and say hi....and about all my mess at home, I have been meaning to tell you this in a nice note, but I cannot get calm and relaxed and inspired in such mess...so tomorrow or by the end of this week...I will finally have reached a clutter free/well if toys don't count home. Ready for some relaxing...the funny thing is that all the other roooms there were ready before now need to be tidy again! sound familiar?
I'd visit too! Definitely at your next stop, which no doubt will have a fabulous front door!
I'm glad you posted pictures. I've always been confused about your layout.
The house looks great. Next time i will have to use your garage door.
Not looking forward to selling our house next year. Good luck with yours. Fun to see a bit of your house though. You are great to take a lot of picts. Keep it up!
Wow! I can't believe you painted your garage to get your home ready to sell. That's impressive.
Some doors just do not make sense.
Love the Vanna pose there Jenny! Cute SPT photo!
I love the clips with the kids work on them. Where did you get that? I need that desperately. Your house looks so clean and fresh. When can I move in? :D Great job busy mom! The paint looks good too.
Sorry I missed your call yesterday I was taking to tummbling.
I should do this SPT...it is fun to get to see into everyone's homes! Your house looks so clean with its fresh paint!
My first house had this set up! I made sure my next house didn't, as I'm sure you will.
Cute picture! Your hair looks long! I would go through your garage door, but I think you have a cute house-it will sell fast-especially with how nice you keep it! I know you don't think so-but it is very cute & the perfect first house!
Love you & can't wait to see you guys!
Janet:)
Nice paint job! I'd be tempted to buy your home from you, if I thought we could sell ours. It's so much nicer and in a nicer area (trust me on that one).
