We Went The Distance

We went to Lake Powell about a month ago, and it ended up being a highlight trip for not only the adults, but the kids as well. The Matern's generously provided a boat and we met half way in the middle at Waiweap Marina. Great food, great friends and lots of fun memories. We opteed for the hotel just to make sure we liked it, with the potential in the future to rent a house boat. It was a short weekend, yet we packed in a lot of boating, eating, cliff jumping, surfing, wakeboarding and even managed to squeeze in family Christmas photos! Here is just a few glimpses what we did.......

Doug catching some sweet air.

Gun Sight cove

Our place for lunch

Silly boys

A night on the town of Page, AZ for pizza

Richard being brave

Taylor loving the body board

Caden doing some crazy jumping!

My cautious boy Luke, even decided to jump. We were so proud of him!

Rich and Alli

Hannah tearing it up.

Addi getting up on her 3rd try for the first time. What a pro!

Yay, by the last day Jared was popping up and starting to cut.

The girls got a little water splashed on them while they were sleeping in the front of the bow. Ooops :)
