It never fails that each day when my kids come home from school they are immediately looking for forms of entertainment. Most of the time I feel like a broken record giving them ideas, but on some occasions they use their imagination and just play like kids are supposed to. Last Friday I happened to catch them in their element playing hide go seek. Luke thought I was Taylor so when he saw that someone was coming he immediately shut the door for fear he was caught in the act.

It then became a game that I was the monster coming to get them out of the closet.

Ah, ha caught red handed. This face is such a classic Luke face, I love it.

Little did I know that when I opened the door I would find his partner in crime aka brother Jared. Holding not one, but two illegal items that don't belong in my craft closet. 1). A ball. 2). Eating candy in a place other than the kitchen.

Weston didn't quite make it to base and is getting stopped by his big sister.

I'm ditto-ing Becca and Amy....I've missed so many posts and it was such fun reading catching up on all of them and your pictures are good...(parroting Amy) did you get a new camera?
The egg rolls looks incredible.
Holy Moly! You've been a posting mad woman. I love all of your photos. I've been experimenting with my camera too, but I think i may need to sign up for some classes or something.
I'm glad Taylor is enjoying piano as much as Mackenzi and Maci. I love, when out of the blue, I hear a Christmas song come from their beginner fingers.
Those egg rolls made me hunry and miss the Clouse House even more than I already do. I could smell and taste them while scrlling through the pictures.
The hiking experience seems way familiar. why is it our kids can run wild through the house for hours(when they know they aren't suppose to) and then you take them out, they can't even walk. Cherish the family time. They will remember those moments later too.
BUSTED! Luke is so cute! Hide & seek is such a classic game. Ben and I went to the temple sat, and when we came home the kids were playing this with the babysitter...in fact they wouldn't stop and kept playing for 15-30 min longer. Kind of fun!
fun photos! love the door shots. and kuddos to taylor for practicing piano so much. it truly is fun to be challenged at the piano, then practice tons, and enjoy accomplishments at the end! she'll do great!
I have read all of your posts but will save energy and comment here:)
Your boys are so, so adorable. And I didn't know the superstition spring mountains were so beautiful. Really - what a hike!
Aren't you glad you bought that piano? So smart.
Looks like a blast! I love when my kids do something "kid like".
I also have one that has been known to sneak candy, and eat it outside of the kitchen!
