We may only be a few months into piano lessons, but I have to admit I love having her play. I have yet to have to make her practice. (I am aware we are just beginners, but still...) She gets on it before school as well as after without being told. Thanks to all of your advice, this was probably one of the best purchases I have made thus far. Why I didn't get one sooner? I'll never know.

It is a talent she will use the rest of her life. I am thankful my Mom MADE me practice and I tell my boys the same thing as they complain every time.
Playing the piano is the best. She will love this skill for years to come.
It is great when they LOVE to practice!! I think it is good to start when they are a little older, as it is somehow more meaningful to them and they actually want to do it.

my girls have a hard time occasionally, but I heard a friend say once, "all good moms make their daughters learn the piano!" So I just tell my girls when they are whining. I am doing my part in being a good mom!good luck!
What a bonus that she practises without you making her.
